As we are sure you are all aware, last week, our intrepid manager, Karen Selby went out for a swift stroll.....up Mount Kilimanjaro. She had set herself a donation target of £4,000 which we are extremely pleased to announce she has now beaten, so thank you to everyone who dug deep into their pockets and supported Karen.
Aside from giving everyone a fright by passing out due to dehydration on one of the earlier stages, the reports we have back from Karen tell us that it all went to plan, with Karen, Suzanne and Lucie all making it to the summit. Karen will no doubt fill us in with full details when she is home and has recovered, but in the meantime, she has left us with the simple fact that the climb was (in her words) more difficult than child birth........
