The Age Group Club Squash Championships
Junior Handicap
There was a good entry for this tournament and after several weeks of excellent competition and a hotly contested final Nick Mulvey triumphed against Brogan Lane.
The Plate Tournament produced a really good final between two fast improving juniors. George Singer and Natasha Drake kept the crowd on the edge of their seats with some really great rallies. In the end Natasha proved to be a worthy winner.
The Classic Plate final was also a close fought and entertaining match between Josh McComish and Daisy Moore, with Josh finally winning 21-16.
Age Group Results
The Ladies O45 Plate was won by Tina Budden with a 3-1 victory over Sandra Dover.
Derek Bayliss was the winner of the Men’s O55 Plate beating Doug Walker 3-0
In what was named nicknamed the ‘Super Juniors’ event – the Men’s 19-34 final was won by Gavin Noffki. Gavin beat Adam Grilli 3-1 in a very hard fought final.
Our club members are extremely busy people and as a result not all the finalists were available to play on Friday, 4 events will be played during the next couple of weeks and the results posted will be available as soon as possible.
