1. What is the 200 Club? The 200 Club is a private lottery organized by the Bishops Stortford Squash Club. It is a great way to raise funds for the benefit of the club AND it pays out cash to winners in a monthly draw. Twice a year there is also a ‘Grand Draw’.

2. Why should I join the 200 Club? All funds raised help to enhance your club and keep it running on a day to day basis. As an example, if we sold 100 tickets we could raise £1,400 per year through very little effort.

3. How does it work? You buy a number (or numbers) which is exclusive to you. All numbers are ‘put in a hat’ and every month a draw takes place to randomly select a winner. Prizes are currently £50 per month and £250 in both June and December.

4. How much does it cost? Each number costs £24 per year (paid annually or quarterly) – Equivalent to just £2 per month! You can have as many numbers as you wish. The winners receive their cheque ASAP but by the end of the month following the draw.

5. How do I pay? By Standing Order from your bank, quarterly or annually. All you need to do is sign the 200 Club Standing Order Payment Authorisation form (available to download here) and hand it to the 200 Club Organiser (see below). We will do the rest. Once set up you don’t need to do anything further apart from hoping that your number gets drawn!

6. Do I need to remember my a number? No. A list of numbers and members is maintained by the Club Organiser. Please contact him if you wish to change any of your personal details or find out what your allocated number is.

7. How do I know if I have won? We will contact you with your prize if your number is drawn out of the hat.

8. How can I cancel my membership of the 200 Club? Simply write to the organizer of the 200 Club giving one month’s notice of cancellation.

9. Where can I see a copy of the 200 Club Rules? A full set of rules with more details are available from the Club Organiser or can be downloaded here.

10. Who is the current Club Organiser? Andrew Mulvey (see members area of website for contact details).
